Springbank Chalet is a purpose built timber frame and clad chalet situated in the quiet hamlet of ‘The Sparl’ just outside the second largest settlement in Shetland – the town of Brae. We are under 100 metres from a beautiful stretch of coast frequented by otters (otter picture 1, otter picture 2)

Be part of a working croft with sheepdog handling and other seasonal duties associated with a hill sheep farm or sit back and enjoy the beautiful view over tranquil Busta Voe after a hard day of taking all Shetland has to offer the sightseer, hill-walker or birdwatcher….

How to Get Here

We are 24 miles north of Lerwick on the main A970 road..
The hamlet of the Sparl is 4 miles north of Voe and a mile south of Brae.
Keep following signs for Brae then turn off to the left at the Sparl sign.
There are 6 or 7 houses we are second left!
Your holiday would be more complete with a vehicle for those inaccessible areas but if required we can fetch you from the Northlink ferry.
